8 Dec we filled the beds in the tunnel houses with mushroom compost. It took 2m3.
10 Dec I planted the tomatoes out in one of the tunnel houses – 5 x Dagma’s perfection, 6 x Island Bay, 4 x Garden peach, 4 x Alma and 2 x Henry’s dwarf bush cherry. I have 5 x garden peach seedlings left. I’ll keep them going in case I need to replace any plants.

12 Dec I laid out the skeleton of the sprinkler system in the house with the tomatoes and staked all tomato plants using bamboo stakes. I also fertilised the bean plants in the main garden using horse poo slurry and liquid. They have been looking rather yellow. Hopefully, this will fix them up.
