On 2 June I spent a great day in the garden.
– I cutback and covered the cape gooseberry
– I ‘splogged’ manure onto the garden beds where the pumpkins had been, to the strawberries and to the asparagus/rhubarb
– I sprayed the stone fruit trees with copper oxychloride
– I spread a thick layer of peastraw around the globe artichokes
