Yesterday we collected about 14,000 native trees from the nursery.  We used two stock trucks (a single load each) and our truck with the horse float (2 loads) and 10 people (5 loading and 5 unloading the stock trucks).  It took all day – Paul organised them all into species once they were at our place.

I won’t be planting these ones!  Simon from “Habitat Restoration Services” has largely selected the species and will come out with a crew of tree planters later this month to begin the planting.

I also collected 224 trees to plant alongside our roadside fence as the painting of the rail fence is now completed.  Hooray!  I’ll plant these trees.
