31 Oct – I weeded the grass pile to the south-west of the house. After weeding I planted yams, artichokes and comfrey (all from Koanga Gardens). The area was then covered with peastraw.
1 Nov – I began preparations for a new area of vegetable garden. This is immediately to the south of the existing vegetable garden. So far all I have done is to cover the area with black plastic. Eventually, the area will be used to plant potatoes, corn etc.
