Today was a day of sowing seeds.  In the garden I sowed patches of:

Carrots – Parisian market and Berlicum
Parsnips – Avon Resister
Swedes – Lawes American Purple Top
Beetroot – Chioggia

In the glasshouse I sowed (in small rectangular trays):
Spinach (summer green) x 16
Silverbeet (rainbow) x 4
Lettuce (green salad bowl)
Rocket (runway)

and LOTS of beans (in punnets with 6 holes):

Mother-in-law x 19
Soy x 12
Dalmatian x 6
Peans (my seeds from last year) x 6
Bob’s x 6
Scarlett runner (my seeds from last year) x 6
Scarlett runner (Aunty Rita’s seeds from 13.5 years ago) x 6

If Aunty Rita’s beans grow, I will plant them; if not I will plant the plants from last year’s seeds.
