17 June was a busy day in the garden.
First, I moved 9 artichokes plants from Bed 4 to the fence line where the others are growing nicely. The newly planted artichokes were manured and mulched with pea straw.

This gave me space to plant 150 cloves of garlic (15 rows of 10) in Bed 4. Once covered, this was mulched with pea straw.

I also mulched the asparagus patch with pea straw.
18 June I refilled the manure bins with manure and topped them up with water. The manure will be used on the garden next autumn and the liquid will be used on heavy feeding plants over the spring and summer.
