Sowing seeds

Yesterday, 2 Sept, was a beautiful spring day (unlike today!).  The sunshine inspired me to get out there and sow seeds for planting out in late October.

I sowed the following:
Parsley (Italian flat leaf) – sprinkled half the packet in the herb section of the vegetable garden, the other half in the herb patch at the backdoor
Beans
     – Peans x 8 seeds (my seeds, 4 hole punnet, 2/hole)
     – Scarlet runners x 6 seeds (my seeds, 6 hole punnet)
     – Gila Indian x 8 seeds (my seeds, 4 hole punnet, 2/hole)
Chard – Rainbow and Ruby x 3 seeds of each (Koanga Gardens)
Corn
     – Chieftain F1 x 12 seeds (Kings seeds, 2 x 6 hole punnets)
     – Sweet early gem x 10 seeds (Koanga Gardens, 10 hole punnet)
Capsicum
     – Sweet mix x 6 seeds (Koanga gardens)
     – Chocolate x 6 seeds (my seeds)
Cabbage
     – Copenhagen market x 3 seeds (Kings seeds)
     – Savoy chieftain x 3 seeds (Koanga Gardens)
Broccoli
     – Purple sprouting x 3 seeds (Koanga Gardens)
     – De cicco x 3 seeds (Kings seeds)
Cauliflower
     – Purple cape x 3 seeds (Koanga Gardens)
     – All year round x 3 seeds (Kings seeds)
Fennel (bulb) – Florence x 6 seeds (Koanga Gardens)
Zucchini – Cocozelle x 4 seeds (Kings seeds, 2 in each of 2 purple pots)
Pumpkin
     – Austrian oil seed x 10 seeds (mixture of mine and Koanga Gardens, 2 in each of 5 red pots)
     – Butternut x 6 seeds (3 x Waltham butternut and 3 x butternut, Koanga Gardens, 2 in each of 3 purple pots)
     – Zambezi gem x 4 seeds (my seeds, 2 in each of 2 brown pots)

I moved the broad beans and tomatoes to the glasshouse as they were getting a little spindly on the kitchen bench.  They will need planting out soon.
