Everything is growing like crazy in the garden at the moment – zucchini, beans, artichokes and pumpkins in particular.

I looked back over old garden photos and thought that when we had the bird scaring kite flying, there was less pea straw scratched around the place.  So we bought a new “Sky crow” from Peter Lynn Kites in Ashburton.  It flies beautifully.  Time will tell if it scares the birds!
