Today (16 March) was the day to clean up the garlic.

After removing the tops and the roots, I have the following:

26 large heads Takahue garlic for use as seed – I will keep these heads intact until it is time to plant.  I will then plant the largest 100-150 cloves and we will eat the rest!!

54 medium heads Takahue garlic for eating.  Some heads had gone soft and mouldy – these are in the burn pile.

14 heads large clove garlic that Maria gave me
