Pea straw laying is completed!

I did it!  The beds are all covered with a thick blanket of pea straw!  There is nothing to be done in the garden itself until spring planting begins.

Behind the parsley (could crop there!) you can see the stakes for the rows of garlic .  At the very back of the photo are the Globe artichoke plants – they are still bearing.

I do still have to tidy up the tunnel houses – but there are still tomatoes ripening….

  1. If you put your green tomatoes in a brown paper bag they ripen really well that’s what Ross does very successful your gardens are looking good
