Weeding at last!

We’ve finally started weeding in the garden!  Everything has been on hold while we kill off old man’s beard – Child 1 has been a great help with this.  He has been out cutting the vines that are growing over trees and dabbing Vigilant gel on the stumps, while I’ve been spraying the isolated clumps.

The weather has been amazing – over 30°C for the about the last 3 weeks.  So we’ve been getting up early and heading out to work by 7am and back in by 10 or 11am.  The last 2 days have been under 20°C and a little drizzly so we’ve been out in the garden instead.

Child 1 has been weeding the paths and I’ve sorted out the tunnel houses – the photos below say it all.
