Winter is here.  We’ve only had a single, light frost so far, but the days are shorter, damper and colder.

Last night I picked this basket of vegetables for our dinner:

This was the last of the tomatoes in the tunnel house.

I’ve also been picking celery and salad (lettuce, mizuna, rocket) and digging potatoes, jerusalem artichokes and carrots.

On the fruit side, feijoas are almost at an end and the single kiwifruit is not quite ripe.
