It was a lovely day outside today, so I made the most of the weather by heading out to the garden.

First, I splogged manure sludge from the bins of horse manure in water onto the asparagus patch.

 

The next step was to cover the entire bed (asparagus and artichoke patches) and the neighbouring bed (potatoes) with pea straw.
