I went to the vegetable today for the first time in a couple of months – we’ve been away and busy.  At first glance, it looked completely over-run with weeds; but on looking more closely, it is simply over-run with over-grown plants!  The silverbeet, celery, old lettuces, sorrel and potatoes have taken over!  I did a quick weed of the garden beds, including under the strawberry cover where I found  hidden treasures, and left the over-grown plants for another day…

Another over-grown plant is the curry bush on the front lawn.  Young adult 2 took care of this for me…  Young adult 1 weeded the driveway and herb beds.
