I checked the ripeness of the stone fruit yesterday – the birds have eaten most of the apricots well before they were ripe and have begun on the peaches.  I foiled their attempts to eat all of them by picking the remainder before they are fully-ripe.  There are  a few ripening each day now – they are delicious!  So juicy and sweet!
