I was clearing the path between beds 3 & 4 today.
While I was clearing the path, I noticed that the garlic needed harvesting. Some of it was beginning to rot in the ground. I dug it all up, thoroughly weeded the area it had been in, roughly plaited it and hung it in the barn to cure. There are bout 70 heads, many of reasonable size this year. As the heads were growing, I had fed them with sheep manure and blood & bone.
