Yesterday, I finished tidying up in the vegetable garden. Eldest son helped trim back the weeds from around the edge of the garden area and tie up the Jerusalem artichokes, asparagus and broad beans.

I weeded the old strawberry patch.

Today, husband and I picked the last of the cherries from the early cherry tree – it’s almost time for the fruit from the other tree. We moved the net onto a peach tree. Yesterday, sister and I picked the first raspberries – about 1l – they didn’t last long enough to have a photo taken….
