Yesterday, I pulled the bean plants out of the garden and removed all of the bean pods from the plants – I had help from our German exchange student. Over the next few days, I’ll pod all of the beans and freeze them.

Husband has been drying apples, I’ve been collecting more hazelnuts, picking tomatoes, zucchini, silverbeet, globe artichokes, chillis, basil, celery, salad greens and strawberries. I looked at the grapes – they aren’t quite ripe yet and the wasps have eaten most of them….
