We’re trying to beat the birds and wasps to the autumn fruit. Husband has picked most of the gala apples and all of the pears. I have sorted them for storage, eating now and drying. Husband has been slicing and drying apples and pears for a few days now.

I picked 20 figs today – these are the 17 that made it inside…. They aren’t quite ripe, but they are close!
