Eldest son and I spent a few hours working out in the vegetable garden. He was weeding and I was doing a general tidy up and weeding. I removed the cover from the strawberry patch and weeded it, picked a few strawberries, a couple of pumpkins, a few tomatoes, basil, cut the seed heads off the fennel (yummy seeds!) and cut some artichokes for dinner. Eldest son “found” a bucketful of carrots amongst the weeds and a gathered a bucket of black boy peaches from the path!

While we made progress out there today, there are still a few days to go!
