Planting seedlings

Several seedlings were ready for planting out – zucchini, beans, lettuce and corn. I normally try to plant them out in about 1 week from now in order to avoid late frosts. So hopefully, they will all be OK!! I covered the zucchini plant to protect it from any late frosts.

Before I could plant the new seedlings, I had to remove old crops – brassicas, some celery and some silverbeet.

The last task for the day was to sow more parsnip seeds. The last ones (also carrots, radish and daikon) have been scratched out by birds. This time, I covered the parsnip seeds to keep the birds away.
