We’re having a great fruit year – now that we are no longer sharing with the birds!! Fruit is SO much tastier when it’s allowed to ripen fully on the tree before being picked and eaten!!
Today I gathered windfall apples, windfall peacherines and ripe tomatoes. Husband picked all of the Conference pears a few days ago – it’s really hard to tell when these are ripe as by the time they feel softish on the outside, they are well over-ripe on the inside.
