Today I sowed the first of the seeds for this season. It is still pretty early, so I sowed them in trays in the glasshouse. Each variety went into a punnet – tomatoes into punnets with 6 holes and pumpkins into punnets with 4 holes. The varieties were (* = my seeds):
Tomato – Dargaville red & yellow x 2 punnets – red & yellow stripes
Tomato – *Guernsey Island x 2 punnets – streaky red and green
Tomato – Island Bay Italian x 2 punnets – red
Tomato – *Wonder x 2 punnets – yellow/orange with 3 lobes
Tomato – *Hawkes Bay yellow x 2 punnets
Tomato – *Dagma’s perfection x 1 punnet
Celery – Nutty x 1 punnets
Pumpkin – Butternut x 2 punnets
Pumpkin – *Hopi grey winter x 2 punnets
Pumpkin – *Austrian oil seeds x 2 punnets
