I pulled the early garlic as the leaves are starting to die off and are also affected with rust. I have 20 heads of red skinned and 20 heads of white skinned. The heads are lovely large ones – it feels like there is a single giant clove per stalk. I have hung the garlic in the barn to cure – 4 bunches of 5 red heads and 4 bunches of 5 white heads.

I also planted out 6 lettuce seedlings.
