My pumpkin seedlings needed planting out. It is earlier than I would like as there may still be late frosts, but I have covered the clusters of plants with microklima cloth cloches.

I planted 3 clusters of oil seed pumpkins – 2 of 5 plants and 1 of 4 plants – these are closest to the artichokes. I also planted 2 clusters of Hopi grey winter pumpkins – 3 plants in each – these are closest to the tunnel houses.
