15 Nov – Yesterday was the day to remove the giant, overgrown plants from the garden.  I pruned the silverbeet and ended up with a wagon full of trunks and leaves for the compost, and removed the remaining beetroot, leeks and celery – another wagon load of plant material into the compost!

 
The final giant plant to deal with was the comfrey – this was all cutback and 2 further wagonloads added to the compost.
