Yesterday I attacked the twitch in the tunnel houses.  It’s amazing stuff!  I pulled out hundreds of long roots with their sharp pointy end.  I ended up with a 40l bucket full of twitch!

It was relatively easy to get out of the mushroom compost – the soil is not at all compressed, its lovely and light so easy to burrow in with hands to follow roots down and along.  It was harder work in the tunnel house with the tomatoes because of the tomato plants.  They both look lovely now!
