Preserving the harvest

Today I made 4 bottles of rhubarb cordial.  It’s delicious! Even the children like it.  It’s very easy to make, let me know if you want the recipe.  The fruit pulp has been bagged and is in the freezer – yummy with yogurt for breakfast.

I also made 2 jars of pickled nasturtium seeds.  These have to sit for a few weeks and then we can try them. They’ll add a nice spice to salads.
