Yesterday, 18 March, I planted out my seedlings – broccoli (de Cicco x6, Spring raab rapini x5), cauliflower x10, cabbage (Dalmatian x6, Savoy x6), Kale (Borecole x6), Brussel sprouts (Long Island x5, Fillibasket x6), Broad beans x12, Peas (Henry’s salad x 6), Lettuce (Red salad bowl, Odell’s), Mesclun (Red mix), Land cress, Spinach x 14, Silver beet.

I also harvested the Black Navajo corn, a flour corn with attractive purple kernels.

Tomatoes are very slow to produce and ripen this year. I’ve had the most success with Henry’s dwarf bush cherry tomatoes. The plants are VERY small and low growing. The tomatoes seem to ripen fastest under the bushes.
