Sowing seeds

Today, 19 August, I weeded the glasshouse.  Too bad I didn’t take before and after photos!  It was pretty amazing in there when I started, but after about 45 minutes there weren’t any weeds left.

I sowed lots of seeds after I’d cleared out the weeds:
Onion – Pukukohe (1/2 seed raising tray)
Onion – Stuttgart (1/2 seed raising tray)
Tomato – Henry’s beefsteak (6 seeds)
Tomato – Alma (6 seeds)
Tomato – Southern bush (6 seeds)
Tomato – Dagma’s perfection (6 seeds)
Tomato – Henry’s dwarf bush cherry (6 seeds)
Tomato – Island Bay (6 seeds)
Broad bean – purple seeds (6 seeds)
Broad bean – brown seeds (6 seeds)
Cauliflower – Purple cape (12 seeds)
Broccoli – de Cicco (6 seeds)
Cabbage – Savoy ( 6 seeds)
Pea – Henry’s sugar snap (12 seeds)
Pea – Southland snow (6 seeds)
Pea – Henry’s salad (6 seeds)
Squash – Waltham butternut (3 pots with 4 seeds in each)
Pumpkin – Austrian oil seed (3 pots with 3 seeds in each)
