12 August. Today was the day for sowing the first of the new season’s seeds. I sowed 12 Island Bay tomatoes, 12 Dagma’s Perfection tomatoes and 8 broad beans. These will be kept inside the kitchen so that they get a really early start.

I also finished weeding the first tunnel house. Now I need to cover the beds with plastic to stop the twitch growing back before I plant anything out there.
