Dinner!

Tonight we are having lamb with lemon, thyme and barley cooked in the slow cooker.  I’ve picked these greens to throw in about 30 minutes before eating

Silverbeet (swiss chard), brussel sprout tops and broccoli

This is SUCH an easy dinner – in the morning fill the slow cooker with several sprigs of fresh thyme, juice and zest of a couple of lemons, about 1kg lamb that is good for a stew, several hands full of grains (pearl barley, lentils…), vegetable stock and boiling water to cover ingredients by about 3cm.  Cook on auto and top up the water as the day goes by and add the chopped vegetables about 30 minutes before eating.
