Yesterday a few friends came over and we did a seed sowing “workshop”! It was fun!
We planted:
Sweet corn – Country gentleman 2 x 4-hole punnets with 2 seeds per hole
Sweet corn – Sweet early gem 1 x 10-hole punnet with 2 seeds per hole
Pumpkin – Hopi grey winter 1 x 4-hole punnets with 2 seeds per hole
Pumpkin – Austrian oil seed 1 x 4-hole punnet with 2 seeds per hole,
1 x 4-hole punnet with 1 seed per hole (ran out of seeds)
Squash – Butternut 1 x 4-hole punnets with 2 seeds per hole
Tomato – Island Bay Italian 1 x 6-hole punnet with 1 seed per hole
Tomato – Hawkes Bay yellow 1 x 6-hole punnet with 1 seed per hole
Tomato – Wonder 1 x 6-hole punnet with 1 seed per hole
Tomato – Ponsonby red 1 x 6-hole punnet with 1 seed per hole
Tomato – Guernsey 1 x 6-hole punnet with 1 seed per hole
Tomato – Dargaville red & yellow 1 x 6-hole punnet with 1 seed per hole
We would have planted more seeds if I hadn’t run out of seed raising mix…..
